Mercedes Benz Glc Suv 2019 Redesign, Specs, and New Features – Mercedes-Benz has its hands full with its SUVs. Not only is it working on models like the GLE and GLS, but it’s also prepping for the arrival of the GLB-Class compact crossover. But before any of these models arrive, the GLC-Class is going to take its turn in the spotlight. Recently, new prototypes of the GLC have been spotted doing the test rounds, and the latest batch of photos show the SUV with barely any camouflage in it.
Mercedes Benz Glc Suv 2019
The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class is a compact luxury SUV that can seat up to five people. It comes standard with a 241-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Rear- and all-wheel-drive versions are offered, as well as a coupelike body style with a sloping roofline over the rear doors.
Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Powertrain
Other variants include the 320-hp GLC 350e plug-in hybrid and the performance-oriented AMG GLC 43 with a 362-hp, twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 and AMG GLC 63 with a 469-hp, twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8. Competitors include the BMW X3, Lexus NX, Porsche Macan and Audi Q5.
With its comfortable ride, cabin space and interior quality, the GLC has a lot to offer compact luxury SUV shoppers, and the range of models means there’s probably one that fits your needs.
Mercedes-Benz sells five crossover SUVs, and the 2019 Mercedes GLC-Class is one of the better ones. It’s the C-Class for the rest of us who aren’t so attached to body styles rendered irrelevant by consumer taste.
Mercedes-Benz GLC Price
The current Mercedes GLC-Class carries a starting price of around $40,000 for the GLC300 trim. That price goes up to $49,990 for the GLC 350e, $56,250 for the AMG GLC 43, and $69,900 for the range-topping AMG GLC 63.
Needless to say, a spike in price is all but certain for all versions of the GLC-Class. Mercedes hasn’t indicated how much the price spike is going to be, but expect the base model to cost a little more now, possibly around $42,000 to $44,000. All other trims should follow suit, including the AMG GLC 63, which is expected to now cost in excess of $70,000.
Premium options include heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic moonroof, a head-up display, an air suspension and a Burmester surround sound system. Heated front seats and a household power outlet are now standard. Three-zone air conditioning is now available.
