New Mercedes Benz E Class 2019 Exterior and Interior Redesign – Mercedes-Benz gave the E-Class a comprehensive redesign for 2017. It continues to be one of the few models that can truly boast a full lineup with sedan, coupe, soft-top cabriolet, and wagon variants. For 2019, it gets several important updates.

Key changes for the new model year include the standard fitment of the Driver Assistance Package Plus acros the range, adding features like enhanced traffic sign assist for the adaptive cruise control system.

There’s also a new steering wheel with touch-sensitive buttons and wheel-mounted cruise controls as seen in the S-Class and C-Class ranges, along with adaptive high-beam assist now standard on the entry-level E200 and E200d.

Mercedes-Benz has dropped the E300 sedan for 2019, meaning there’s a $30,000 jump between the E220d and E350e.

2019 E-Class Sedan

The 2019 E-Class sedans are the E 300, the E 300 4MATIC® and the E 450 4MATIC®. Changes are focused on the interior, and include new steering wheels with touch buttons, and Brown Ash and Burl Walnut trims with matching center console. New options include the Rear Safety Package, rear seat side airbags, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, cabin air fragrance and filtration system, route-based speed adaptation added to the Driver Assistance Package, head up display, a new Night Package with 19-inch AMG® wheels, and a power rear-wheel sunshade. The AMG® E 53 and E 63 S round out the sedan lineup. The new engine is the AMG® enhanced 3.0-liter twin-turbo I6 with EQ boost technology. The E 53 gets a new exhaust tailpipe design and a new hood with twin power domes. The surround view system is now standard, as is the EQ boost starter-alternator and the updated AMG® Performance 4MATIC®+. New options include the AMG® Performance Exhaust System on the E 53, heated steering wheel, AMG® illuminated door sills, Advanced Parking Assist Package, and new 20-inch AMG® wheel designs.

2019 E-Class Coupe

The E 450 and E 450 4MATIC® Coupe models feature the new 3.0-liter V6 biturbo engine, Rubellite Red metallic paint, new steering wheel with touch buttons, 64-color enhanced ambient lighting with illuminated air vents and new wood trims. New options include those found on the E 450 Sedan plus Energizing Comfort Package and AMG® floor mats. The AMG® E 53 Coupe now features the 3.0-liter biturbo-6. The engine is accompanied by a 48-volt lithium-ion battery with a 1kWh capacity.

2019 E-Class Cabriolet

The 2019 four-seat, two-door E-Class convertible models are the E 450 Cabriolet and the AMG® E 53 Cabriolet. Both are upgraded with the new biturbo V6 engine, and available with a new paint color, adaptive high-beam assist and the other options found on the E 450 Coupe.

2019 E-Class Wagon

The E 450 4MATIC® Wagon receives the new 3.0-liter V6 biturbo engine and available manual rear side-window sunshades, plus the upgrades found on the E 450 Sedan. The AMG® E 63 S Wagon also gets the Mercedes-Me Connect Services and the Surround View System. Other new options mirror those on the E 63 S Sedan.

Look for the 2019 E-Class to arrive in the last quarter of 2018.
